Chris Here.

We had a busy day yesterday and didn't have time to post.  Not to worry, that doesn't necessarily mean there's anything wrong, just that we didn't have spare time to post the events of the day.

Adam spent the day in the yard helping pick up the pine straw piles that accumulated over the winter and making sure the trash and recycle got picked up and are under control once more (we missed pickup day last week).  He has been a great help around the house the last couple days.

Mom had a rougher night last night than previous nights.  She was startled awake and got all our attention at her bedside. As we got her settled down and relaxed a little, she asked us in her very candid Mary Lou style "Am I holding up the funeral?"

She was very tired and was not able to get up to sit up with us this morning in the Living Room as she has in previous mornings.  Our most incredible Hospice Nurse, Sabrina, came in for an unscheduled check up. While her heart is still beating strongly, Mom's vital signs had slowed overnight and she is showing signs of weakening. As Sabrina was leaving, she told Mom she was in good hands.  Mom replied, "I am in the two most perfect hands possible."  Not sure Sabrina has had a patient bring her from laughter to tears as often as Mom has so far.

  4. When we love someone so much, the memories are what Heavenly Father has created to help us through tough times.
Mom and Dad Hamilton have been an inspiration and the greatest examples to me.
When I had the priviledge of living with this awesome family for seventeen months, I knew I'd been with them long before my earthly mission began.
I had many talks with Mom and the one thing that stands out is no matter what happens in people lives we are to love them for "them" and let the Father have the "final say-so"! I have tried so hard every day to live up to the magnificent advise this awesome woman has given me!
I will forever be grateful to be able to call both of this eternally couple "Dad and Mom"!
To Kim, Chris and Capri, may I add, as one of your big sisters, thank you for showering me with love, much needed kisses and support and for making those seventeen months, some the most cherished and happiest of my life!
Families are together forever and as Dad once said, "Eternity is a right smart piece of time"!
I love you all and your families with all my heart!!!
