Dad had a hard day too.
Fell asleep sitting at the counter watching the digital picture frame Kim set up for mom, with hundreds of family pictures.

From Jeffery Hamilton and Family. I keep thinking about what i would have done different if i knew that was the last time i was going to see you and Ani Keeps telling menot to worry. We will all wish we had spent more time with someone once we know we cant any more. All we can do is tell them we love them and wish them peace in their new life that will become them.
ReplyDeleteso Grandma from my whold family we all love you and miss you. we wish we could be there to give you one last hug and let you hold your newest great grand child before you leave us. I have so many great momories of you for as long as i can remember and you will always remain in our hearts as one of the sweetest most caring people the world will ever know!!!

ReplyDeleteI really hope you got the card Jackie made for you. She asks me all the time if you saw it. I am so glad that my children got the chance to get to know you. Josh and Jackie are both old enough to have memories of their "old" grandma, and I'm grateful they will have that.
I was trying to think of what I remember most about you as I was growing up and the first thing that always comes to mind (besides making me sleep in the creepy doll room) was the warm milk. Whenever we'd come out to visit it seemed like you were always making me drink warm milk. If I couldn't sleep, if I had a headache or crampy legs, you'd heat up a glass of milk and push it at me like it could cure everything. I remember hating that nasty milk and thinking you were crazy, but I always appreciated you trying to make me feel better! I knew you loved me, just like I know you love me now and that you're going to continue loving me forever.
I love you so much Grandma, and I'll be counting down the days until I get to see you again. Since I have four obnoxious little children I'm sure that wait will feel much longer for me than it will for you.
We're all thinking of you and Grandpa. You're in our prayers every night!
